Job Description:

SUMMARY

The primary function of the Special Events Employee is to support and supplement activities for the Tribal Administration of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians.

 PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS

  • Meet the specific needs of assigned department on an On-Call basis.
  • Maintain appearance standards as outlined in CTCLUSI policies.
  • Must be able to interact with Tribal members and the general public in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT

  • Working conditions vary according to assignment.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, & special events as needed.

 

Experience and Skills:

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Must meet the qualifications and skills required of specific position for each assignment.    
  • May require a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent depending on assignment. 
  • Minimum age requirement is depending on assignment.
  • Food Handlers card may be required.
  • Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
  • This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.
